El Sexy-o has very little to set up in the Stack inspector. But those few options can create beautiful lightbox-type displays unlike most other other lightboxes.
I suppose the easiest way to show you what El Sexy-o is capable of is to let you see it in action. Try it! I'm assuming you tried it, right? Now you've seen the power of El Sexy-o. The lightbox I used for this page has a black lightbox that appears from the top of the page. I placed a cool, wood-grained image in the background. On the next page, I'll use a white lightbox and a different background image.
And you are not limited to a single image in your display either. You can create galleries with both images and inline content. Look here
If you look closely at the image of the Inspector below, you'll see that you get to choose a background color I addition to adding an image. El Sexy-o does not require that you add an image... just use a solid color if you'd prefer (but who would?). If you use a jpg image as a background, you have full control over the opacity but cannot take advantage of the colored background behind the image. If you use a png, you can control the image and the background color.
El Sexy-o comes with a few backgrounds to get you started. However, I'm guessing you're going to create some awesome ones of your own.
- Check the box for a black lightbox. Uncheck for White.
- Choose the size of the Caption font that displays with the lightbox.
- Check the box to have the lightbox appear from the top of the browser window. Uncheck to appear from the bottom.
- Select the color of the semi-transparent overlay behind the El Sexy-o.
- Select how transparent the background color (and image) are.
- Add an image to be displayed behind El Sexy-o when your content is displayed. Here is your chance to really shine and make your page truly unique.
